Expert support in preparation of the Migration and Asylum Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the action plan 2021-2025

The Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina has addressed a request to DCAF to provide policy advice and expertise in the process of drafting a new pluriannual national asylum and migration strategy and action plan for the period 2021 - 2025.
With support of SEM, DCAF organised a series of workshops/consultations, during which the expert advice on preparing the mentioned strategy and action plan was provided as well as on identified problems with strategic and action planning.
Project outputs:
- Output 1: Support and guidance in preparation of national strategy on migration management and asylum.
- Output 2: Strategy in the field of asylum and migration
- Output 3: Action plan in the field of asylum and migration (relating to the Strategy)
Expected immediate project outcome: Improved strategic planning capacities of relevant authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina to produce a realistic and feasible mid-term strategy and an accompanying action plan in the field of asylum and migration.
