Preševo, Serbia – Common Operation “PREŠEVO” was organised under the auspices of the DCAF Border Security Programme and in cooperation with the Directorate of Border Police or the Republic of Serbia Between 28 October and 07 November 2019.

Visiting officers from 9 countries, supported by representatives of European Agencies (Europol, Frontex) and DCAF took part in the operations.
During the Operation, significant number of irregular migrants were apprehended; simplified readmission procedures were conducted; debriefings with irregular migrants were conducted, which produced important information regarding the modus operandi, smugglers and migration routes.
