Field visit of the subgroup on real estate
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Between 6 and 10 May 2024, a field visit of the thematic subgroup on Real estate will take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The activity, organised by DCAF within the project "Support to the standardization of the resources of the border police of Bosnia and Herzegovina", financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration will provide an opportunity to subject matter experts to review existing real estate capacities of several BP units and discuss specific challenges that the officers face in their work. The mission will provide valuable input for the development of recommendations on standardisation in domain of real estate.
Field visit of the subgroup on ITS
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Between 20 and 24 May 2024, a field visit of the thematic subgroup on ITS will take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The activity, organised by DCAF within the project "Support to the standardization of the resources of the border police of Bosnia and Herzegovina", financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration will provide an opportunity to subject matter experts to engage with experts of the BP BIH with regard to ITS, the existing infrastrucutre, possibilities for connectivity and integration, and the applicability of the GIS solutions within the work of border police.

Field visit of the subgroup on Control and Checks technique
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Between 10 and 14 June 2024, a field visit of the thematic subgroup on Control and Checks technique will take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The activity, organised by DCAF within the project "Support to the standardization of the resources of the border police of Bosnia and Herzegovina", financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration will provide an opportunity to subject matter experts to review existing capacities and needs in the domain of technology and equipment related to border checks and border surveillance and discuss specific challenges that the officers face in their work. The mission will provide valuable input for the development of recommendations on standardisation of equipment.
